With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Ray Dale of Columbia, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Dale and Ruth Vandygriff Dale; his wife Carolyn Faye Daniels Dale; his son Timothy Ray Dale; and his siblings, Glynn Dale, Lynn Dale, Imogene Scott, Shirley Davis and Faye Baker.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Clay Dale and Marvin Dwayne Dale; his grandchildren, Timothy Dale, Jeffrey Dale, Kelsey Dale, Brandi Crain and Shelby Crain; his great grandchildren, Carson Furno, Ryleigh Collins and Kael Collins; and his brother Danny Dale (Annie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
