He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Holmes, Sr. and Mildred Lillian Voos Holmes; his grandson Patrick Thomas Glenn; and his sisters, Mildred and Barbara Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Leonor Holland; his children, Sylvia Glenn (Tom) of Columbia, TN, Stephanie Fox of Columbia, TN and John Holmes (Carmen) of Idaho; his sisters-in-law, Idea Machado Ribero, Maria and Graca Viera; his nephew Rafael M. Ribero; and his niece Rosa M. Ribero. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
