He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Greenwood and Margaret Greenwood; and his siblings, Thurmond Greenwood, Lamar "Peewee" Greenwood, Grady Greenwood, Betty Davis, Mary Nash, Tiny Belcher and Edna Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Myers Greenwood of Columbia, TN; his son Kelly Greenwood (Kori) of Cumming, GA; his grandchildren, Breanna Elliott (Jeffrey) of Winder, GA, Baylee Greenwood of Gainesville, GA, Riley Greenwood of Buford, GA and Preston House (Skylar); his children, Reagan, Hadley of Braselton, GA, J'Knox Lanier, Katherine Lanier, Amy Gerkin (Tony) of Three Rivers, MI, Brad Simone (Mindi) of Columbia, TN, Michael Simone (Nickie) of Pulaski, TN and Jill Shutts (Richard) of Oakwood, GA; his brother-in-law Wayne Burnette of Buford, GA; and his close friend Frank Compton of Buford, GA.. He is also survived by eleven step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
