She was predeceased by: her sons, Douglas Claiborne, Steven Claiborne and Gregory Claiborne; and her siblings, Grady Baker (Velma), Johnnie Baker (Helen), Malchus Baker (Vera), Josie Oliver (Fulton), Ivena Hitchcock (Houston) and Clifton Baker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy McEwen (Tommy) of Columbia and Dawn Yelverton (Bill) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Kami (Billy), Thurman (Santa Fe), Neil (Elizabeth) and Danielle Claiborne (Oregon); her stepgrandchildren, Chris (Mandy), McEwen (Santa Fe), Kristie (Brandon) and Sullivan (Fairview); and her great grandchildren, Hayley Thurman, Billy Thurman, III, Brady Thurman, Maddox Webb, Tyler Webb and Addison Webb.
