He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Pilkinton and Dorothy Toungette Pilkinton; his brother Louie Pilkinton; and his brother-in-law Gerald Ray Walters. He is survived by: his children, Casey Pilkinton of Columbia, Connie Poling (Jim) of Columbia and Cathey Thomason (Jeff) of Santa Fe; his siblings, Billy Pilkinton (Betty) of Columbia, Roger Pilkinton (Martha) of Columbia, Donna Walters of Columbia and Barbara Watson (Stanley) of Franklin; and his grandchildren, Ryder, Ansli, Addyson, Sawyer Pilkinton, Derrick Scott (Amanda), Drew Scott (Amanda), Teri Burcham (Brandon), Daniel Thomason (Jenny) and Ben Thomason (Kayla). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
