He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Evans Cannady and Daisy Skinner Cannady. He is survived by: his sons, Steven Cannady (Cassie) of Culleoka and Jacob Cannady (Jerri Ann) of Lewisburg; his grandchildren, Brady Fuller, Samson James Cannady, Eliza Cannady, Paisley Cannady and Jonah Cannady; and his siblings, Tim Cannady of Culleoka and Lisa Fischer (Mike) of Nashville. He is also survived by his wife of 40 years, whom he married, several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
