He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward "T. E." Dungy and Bessie Thompson Dungy; and his siblings, Jesse Dungy, Wendell Dungy, Thomas Lee Dungy and Lena Sue Dungy.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Lovell Dungy of Columbia; his children, Duane Dungy (Mimy) of Culleoka, Cara Braden (Chad) of Pulaski, Charlie Dungy of Culleoka and Phillip Dungy of Culleoka; his grandchildren, Halle Braden, Gracie Braden, Ryder Dungy and Knightly Dungy; and his siblings, Bethany Dungy, Patricia Adkins, Gary Dungy (Linda) and Joey Dungy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
