He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jennings Bryan Westmoreland and Cora Mai Harris Westmoreland; his wife Rubye Mai Blocker Westmoreland; and his daughter Lori Ann Worthington. He is survived by: his sons, James "Eddie" Westmoreland (Cathy) of Olive Branch and Nick Westmoreland of Columbia. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
