He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Skillington and Lois Woody Skillington; his daughter Mary Elizabeth Skillington; and his siblings, Rachel Fraser, John Robert Skillington, Dewey Skillington, Joe Frank Skillington, Minnie Ruth Skillington and Ann Skillington.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leigh Skillington of Lynnville, TN and Jan Carmichael (Steve) of Murfreesboro, TN; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Mitchell of Las Vegas, NV and Davis Mitchell of Knoxville, TN; his sister Faye Bohannon of Santa Fe, TN; and his grandson Steven Cole Carmichael of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
