He was predeceased by: his father Don Carter; his son Scott Carter; his brother David Carter; and his grandson Adam Panos. He is survived by: his mother Linda Carter (Beasley); his children, Brett Carter, Eric Carter, Jessica Carter and Tracey Campbell (Nick); his siblings, Michael Carter, Donna Goodgine (Billy), Sherry Carter and Amy Jones; and his granddaughters, McKenzie Campbell, Katherine Campbell and Madison Campbell.
