She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Fitzgerald and Pearl Hill Fitzgerald; and her siblings, Sonny Fitzgerald, Paul Fitzgerald, Evelyn Burns and Peggy Crenshaw.
She is survived by: her sons, Barry Potts (Regina) of Fort Mill, SC and Jerry Potts (Tonjia) of Santa Fe, TN; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Weygand (Scott), Hannah Turney (Justin), Harrison Potts (Courtney), Kara Potts and Molly Potts; her great grandchildren, Maralyn Weygand, Emalyn Weygand, Baylor Turney, Leighton Turney and Laurence Weygand; and her niece Patsy Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
