He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Ray Brooks and Agnes McCaleb Brooks; and his sisters, Myrna Brooks and Joyce Holder. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Fleming Brooks; his son Robert McEwen Brooks; his stepsons, Matthew Ryan Wiley and Jason Brent Fleming (Apryl); his brother Charles Ray Brooks (Karen); and his grandchildren, Lillian Jo Ann Woody, Jordyn Fleming and Josiah Fleming. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
