She was predeceased by: her mother Violet Wilson; her son Chuck Karnes; and her grandson Aaron "Tony" Karnes. She is survived by: her son Tony Karnes (Kathy); her granddaughter Angela Karnes; her close friend Danny Gipson; and her brother Harold Stutzenberger (Shirley).
