With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Rivas in Columbia, Tennessee, born in Glendale, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 55. Though Christopher may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Christopher touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his wife Masako Rivas of Japan; his mother Joan Rivas; his stepfather Tony Nanci of Columbia, Tennessee; his children, Max Rivas, Tomoko Grace Kifusa (Misugu), Megan Hanako Rivas, Jane Momoka Rivas and Aidan Makoto Rivas; his brother Brandon Rivas; and his grandchildren, Kate Kifusa, Eliya Kifusa, Cleo Kifusa and Mashiro Shimada.
