She is survived by: her husband Gerald Mims; her children, Nigel Smith (Anne), Margaret Smith, Johnell Smith (Janice), Heather Whitaker (Clay), Gary Smith, Gerald Mims, Jr. (Tracy) and Geraldine Bobo (Scott); and her brother Brian Page. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grand children.
