She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Taylor Daniel and Lila Hairel Daniel; her husband Robert Earl Matthews; and her siblings, Hala Mae King and Leon Daniel.
She is survived by: her sons, Carlton Wilson (Lisa) of Summertown and Jimmy Wilson of Columbia; her siblings, Raymond Daniel (Pamila) of Columbia, Freddie Daniel of Columbia, Julie "Judy" VanZandt (Chuck) of Columbia, Christine Sparkman (Eddie) of Columbia, Bell Marie Fitzgerald (Ronnie) of Columbia and Rita Faye Mosley of Columbia; her grandchildren, Matthew Wilson, Christopher Savage Wilson, Steven Wilson and Willa Wilson; and her close friend Jan Moody. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
