He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Potts, Sr. and Josie Byrd Potts; and his siblings, Robert Potts, Calvin Potts, Jr., R. B. Potts, Frank Potts, Ruth Potts Smith, Marie Potts Goodson, Kathleen Potts Mitchell and Audrey Potts Slaughter.
He is survived by: his son Zachary "Zac" Potts of Franklin; his sisters, Ester Potts Kinney of Santa Fe, Earline Potts Morrow of Santa Fe and Carolyn Potts Atkins of Columbia; and the mother of his child Carolyn Malugin Potts of Columbia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
