He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McCarver Harkins; his children, Laurie Scott (John), Charles Harkins III (Rosalind), Edward Harkins (Kathleen) and Alyson Harkins (Ron Kuhn); his brother Gerald Harkins; his grandchildren, Charles Joseph Harkins IV, Katie Hazelett, Ryan Harkins, Stacy Lloyd, Dylan Lance, Ashely Lance, Donovan Harkins and Kali Harkins; and his great grandchildren, Jadalynn Harkins, Jaliyah Harkins, Aria Harkins, Natalie DeGain, Haylie Lloyd, Elaina Hazelett, Emma Hazelett and Ella Harkins.
