She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Hubbard Lemay and Elizabeth Holder Lemay; her husband Horace Richard "Dick" Lindsey, Sr.; her grandson John Lee Kennedy; and her brothers, Jesse James Lemay, Vander Lemay and Chester Lemay.
She is survived by: her children, Cathey Kennedy (Joel) of Mt. Pleasant and Richard Lindsey, Jr. (Diane) of Mt. Pleasant; her sister Margie Fautt of Columbia; her grandchildren, Anthony Lindsey (Rachel) of Mt. Pleasant and Mary Beth Lovett (Brian) of Mt. Pleasant; her great grandchild Mary Catherine Lovett of Mt. Pleasant; and her grandson Jason Edward Lovett of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
