He was predeceased by: his parents, Cal Johnson and Mamie Ladd Johnson Blackburn; and his sister Louise Aldridge. He is survived by: his children, Lora Richards (Jeff) of Columbia and Dean Johnson (Cheryl) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Karli Cole (Tyler) of Columbia, Brian Dean Johnson of Columbia and Sarah Beth Johnson of Columbia; his nieces, Lena Jane Ferguson and Peggy Hardaway (Charlie); and his wife Doris Johnson.
