We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2023, at the age of 84, Carl Albert Wilkinson of Columbia, Tennessee, born in Summertown, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Riley Wilkinson and Sallie Lou Phillips Wilkinson; and his siblings, Roy Wilkinson, G. A. Wilkinson, Louisa Collett, Ocell Elkins, Dellar Payne, Vera Davis, Dorotha Barton and Rosemary West.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Joyce Willkinson; his children, Darrell Wilkinson (Joyce) of Columbia, David Wilkinson of Columbia, Carla Caraway (William) of Columbia and Rick Nation (Terri) of Unionville, TN; and his sister Rebecca Davis of Magnolia, KY. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Carl requested that memorial donations be made to the Tennessee School for the Blind, 115 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Nashville, TN 37214, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
