He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jean Potts Atkins; his daughters, Dana Atkins Walters of Columbia and Briggett Atkins Collins (Rodney) of Culleoka; his brother Alvin Atkins of Lyles; his grandchildren, Jonathan Walters of Columbia, Blake Walters of Columbia, Josie Collins of Culleoka and Hannah Collins of Culleoka; his nephew Calvin Layne Atkins of Lyles; and his siblings-in-law, Charlie Potts of Santa Fe, Kathleen Potts Mitchell of Santa Fe, Earline Potts Morrow of Santa Fe, Ester Potts Kinney (Wayne) of Santa Fe and Ruth Potts Smith of Culleoka.
