He is survived by: his children, Deborah Kay Flores, Bobby Joe "Joey" Grooms, Jr. and Jeffrey DeWayne Grooms (Paula); his grandchildren, Michael Grooms, Jeremy Grooms, Jamie Grooms and Harly Rae Grooms; his siblings, Ronald Grooms, Leon Grooms (Rita), Floye Malugin (Roger) and Joye Davidson (Danny); and his close friend Evadene Williamson. He is also survived by son numerous great-grandchildren and friends.
