He was predeceased by: his parents, Blonnie Wilkes Dodson, Sr. and Ailene McNeal Dodson; his wife Wilma Young Dodson; his sister Ann Gibson; and his brothers-in-law, Andy Hunter, Billy Gibson and Lyle Amlin.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Dodson and Beverly Harris (Clay); his grandchildren, Shane Keith (Crystal), Amy Meacham (Bobby), Joshua Dodson and Jennifer Dodson; his great grandchildren, Chandler Rich (Morgan), Megan McCrory (Trent), Devin Keith (Shelby), Seth Keith (Courtney) and Kobe Dodson; his great great grandchildren, Beau Keith, Luke Keith, Harper McCrory and Bonnie McCrory; and his siblings, Dwight Dodson, Lenora Hunter and Elaine Amlin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
