He is survived by: his parents, Billy Hood and Carolyn Baker Hood; his son Cody Dewayne Hood of Lewisburg; his sister Melissa Hood Harris (Jimmy) of College Grove; his grandchildren, Kylie Pullen, Brantley Hood, Cherokee Hood, Jeremiah Hood and Tristan Bracey; his niece Lindsey Harris (Paul Stewart); his great-niece Addyson Stewart; and his wife Rita Beard Hood.
