She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Slaughter (Lorrie) and Kevin Slaughter; her grandchildren, Christopher Lee Slaughter, Amber Marie Slaughter, Mark Anthony Slaughter, Chase Steven Slaughter and Ashley Corrine Slaughter; and her sister Mary Scroggins. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
