She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Malugin and Elizabeth Hines Malugin; her sons, Jimmy Thomason and Phillip Thomason; her sisters, Elizabeth Gail Malugin and Naomi Humphrey; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Scott.

She is survived by: her husband James Thomason (Andy); her sisters, Martha Pilkinton (Rodger) and Donna Tarkington (Larry); her nieces and nephews, Kevin Scott (Thea), Candi Adams (Rodney), April Bobb and Nathan Tarkington; and her close friend Jackson Spires.
