With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Cheek (Columbia, Tennessee), who passed away on April 29, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie P. Ervin and Florence Cozart Ervin; her former husbands, Billy Brannon and Chesley P. Cheek; her son Jimmy Joe Brannon; and her brothers, Bobby Ervin and Claude Ervin.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Wessner (Kennith) of Shelbyville, TN, Carmen Lawson (Brandon) of Tallahassee, FL and Roscoe Brannon (Kathy) of Columbia, TN; her stepchildren, Billy Cheek (Joyce) of Columbia, TN, David Cheek (Carolyn) of Waco, TN, Betty Lou Hardison and Nancy Brown (Charlie) of Petersburg, TN; her siblings, Dot Young, Eleanor Rubert, Lula Crigger (Jack), Wilburn Ervin (Betty), Clyde Ervin (Kathy) and Jackie Ervin (Sue); and her grandchildren, C. T. Wessner, Eric Wessner (Charlotte), Jason Brannon, Meribeth Brannon, Mandy Brannon, Stephanie Lampley (Michael), Billy Carl Brannon and Brianna Lawson. She is also survived by several step grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
