She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet W. Ray and John L. Ray; her husband Herbert L. Lewis, Jr.; her son Herbert L. Lewis III; and her siblings, Opal Foran, Venita Lewis, Billie Gilley and Robert Ray.
She is survived by: her sons, Herbie and John Ray Lewis (Denise); her granddaughters, Lauren and Lillian Lewis; and her siblings, Peggy Tippe and Larry Ray.
