It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Ball (Columbia, Tennessee), who passed away on June 27, 2019, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee Marlin and Helen Estell Potts Marlin; her husband James Ervin Ball; her siblings, R. J. Marlin, Odell Marlin, Vera Marlin Gidcomb and Mildred Marlin Parsley; and her son-in-law Joseph L. Reed.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Wilson (Mike) of Bradyville and Claudette Reed of Thompson Station; her grandchildren, Jennifer Kauffman (Chris), Jackie Blanton (Steven), Jimmy Reed (Ladonne), David Reed (Alex) and Matthew Reed; her great grandchildren, Madison Blanton, Caroline Blanton, Ben Kauffman, Jessie Kauffman and Joseph Reed; her nieces, Julia Lane, Dian Parsley and Linda Gail Gidcomb; and her nephew Robert Hobbs.
