He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Streams Childers; his sons, Ben Alan Childers, Jr. of Pulaski and Zachary Lee Childers of Murfreesboro; and his brothers, Leroy Childers of Tyler, TX and Eugene Thorne II of Alabama. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
