With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barney Leon Melton Jr. (Columbia, Tennessee), born in Wetumpka, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Leon Melton, Sr. and Ruth Lanier Melton; and his sister Evelyn Lenier. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy" Ladd Melton of Santa Fe; his daughters, Merry Naramore (David) of Lafayette, TN and Melody Neal of Pensacola, FL; his grandchildren, Amber Naramore, Catherine Hillis, Adrianna Neal and Jonathan Neal; his great grandchild Kaislyn Hillis; and his brothers-in-law, George Ladd (Sherry) of Santa Fe and Ronald Ladd (Robin) of Santa Fe.
