She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis R. Zakary and Margaret Sue Radcliff Zakary; and her husband Ronald "Ronny" Frank Johnston. She is survived by: her children, Joan Margaret DeVoe of California, Brian Charles Rushing (Sue) of Pennsylvania, Susanne Elise Rushing of Lancaster, TN and Randel Johnston (Molly) of Columbia, TN; her siblings, Raymond Zakary, Felix Jay Zakary and Miriam Brown; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Kat, Cindy, Patrick, Charlie, Mack, Lily, Katie, Marvel and Ronin. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
