He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Harris and Pellie Mae Erwin Harris; his sister Carolyn Sue Bowen; and his nephew Scotty Harris. He is survived by: his children, Kim Harris Hargrove (Tad) of Lewisburg and Jason Erwin Harris of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Straton Hammond, Laken Hammond and Jacey Liggett; and his siblings, Robert Lee Harris, William Allen Harris (Carolyn) of Columbia, Clyde Edward Harris (Linda) of Culleoka and Margaret Harris of Texas.
