He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Carpenter; his children, Hollis Carpenter, Jonathan Carpenter and Treva Hughes; his grandchildren, Molly Johnston, David Carpenter, Lauren Mann, Jimmy Carpenter, Alyssa Hughes and Emma Hughes; and his great grandchildren, Jonathan Mann, Marvel Johnston, Daniel Mann and Ronin Johnston.
