He is survived by: his close friend Minna Faye Kilpatrick of Lawrenceburg, TN; his children, Jeffrey Will Newton (Mary) of Franklin, TN, Timothy Wade Newton (Michelle) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Mary Melinda Allen (Gary "Doc") of Smyrna, TN; his grandchildren, Crystal Nicole Newton, Justin Tyler Newton, Kari LeAnn Basham, Crysta Michelle Nilsson and Meagan Marie Foster; his great grandchildren, Alexander Tiberius Basham, Mira Delynn Basham, Leiarah Rei Basham and Cheyenne Isabella Newton; and his sister Velma Mitchell of Pulaski, TN.
