He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Frazier and Era Dee Dixon Horton; his son Darrell Horton; his brother Harold Horton (Guinda); and his niece Dawanda Horton.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Horton; his son Philip Horton (Amy); his daughter-in-law Beth Horton; and his grandchildren, Luke Horton and Ivy Horton.
