It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Elmer Mitchell (Collinwood, Tennessee), who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mitchell and Cladys Clack Mitchell; and his brothers, Charles Edward Mitchell and Thomas H. Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Fannie Belle Parker Mitchell; and his stepchildren, Marcus, Mack, Roy, C. J. Parker, Dolly Parker Weaver and Betty Parker Clark. He is also survived by 11 step grandchildren; and 7 step great grandchildren.
