He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonny Hills and Louise Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Mary Haddock Hills; his children, Amber Williams (Lee), Danny Kilburn (Liz) and April Junkins (Jason); and his siblings, David Hills, Donnie Hills (Pam), Linda Hellmick (Dale), Peggy Casteel (Terry), Janet Redheart and Sherry Rose-Bolin (Ronnie). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
