He was predeceased by: his parents, Lomax Sturdivant and Inez Sturdivant; his son Martin "Marty" Sturdivant; and his sister Rose Mary Sturdivant. He is survived by: his children, William Sturdivant, Jr. (Bill) and Jan Armstrong; his brothers, Rick Sturdivant and Max Sturdivant; his grandchildren, Scott (Cait), Bradley (Danielle), Rachel, AmyBeth (Kevin), Courtney, Brant and Chase; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Teddy, Willow and Riley.
