She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Benjamin and Metris Pickens Keesling; her husband Thomas David Coopwood, Jr.; and her brother Richard Hugh Keesling. She is survived by: her children, Pattie Rape and Thomas David Coopwood, III; and her grandsons, Joe Lee Rape, Charles Hugh Rape, Joshua David Coopwood and Christopher Seth Coopwood. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
