He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramsey Peyton Locke, Sr. and Ludie Richardson Locke; his wife Betty Ann Locke; and his sisters, Dorothy Milliorn and Anne Dean.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Hampton (Henry), Terry Locke (Mary) and Kenny Locke; his grandchildren, Stephanie Locke, David Locke, Billy Hampton (Krissie), Jamie Hall (Jason) and Kenny Locke (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Michaela Nance (Drew), Zoe Swindler, Lex Hampton, Samuel Hampton, Jaden Hall, Jaxon Hall and Jillian Hall; and his brothers, Roy Locke (Becky) and Richard Locke (Jeannie Ruth).
