With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelda Chase Hamer (Collierville, Tennessee), born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on March 11, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sister Hilda Chase Mullen of Memphis; her granddaughters, Grace and Rose Hamer; her nieces, Lisa Mullen Waite of Dallas and Jennifer Mullen Schneider of Memphis; her nephew Jeff Mullen; her son Mark Hamer; and her daughter-in-law Melinda Hamer of McLean, Virginia..
