Melinda McCormick Woodard Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melinda McCormick Woodard of Collierville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 9, 2022 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Gerald McCormick Sr.; and her grandparents, Daphene, John McWilliams, Mary Murchison and Carl McCormick.

She is survived by: her husband Scot Woodard; her daughters, Nealy Woodard and Mallory Fulgham (Steven); her grandchildren, Lila Kay Fulgham of Collierville and Thomas Alan Fulgham of Collierville; her siblings, Patti Anderson of Collierville, Amy Dawson of Alpharetta and Gerald D. McCormick Jr. (Kim) of Nashville; her brothers-in-law, Thad Woodard (Linda) of Anchorage, Dow Woodard (Kim) of Santa Clarita and Calif; her nieces and nephews, Lindsey Woodard (Todd), Leigh Ann Woodard (Andy Dallman), Meredith Mesquita (J. T.), Lora Malone (Zane), Sarah Anderson, Cooper McCormick of Madeline Woodard, D. J, Michael Anderson, Scottie Tudor (Graham), Callie Dawson and Hadley Dawson; her great-nieces, Hattie Mae Dallman, Margot Betts, Caroline, Charlotte Malone and Wren Mesquita; and also Ruth McCormick of Collierville. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

She could always be counted on to host a bridal or baby shower and RSVP'd yes to every invitation she received — which was many — and never missed a graduation or special event for family and friends alike.
