She was predeceased by: her parents, James Duffy and Elva Duffy; her husband Charles Sims; her son Douglas Sims; and her sister Melva Seng.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Sims and Debbie Jones (Rich); her grandchildren, Erin Burton (Hunter), Noah Sims, Gage Sims, Madalyn Sims, Jackson Jones, Ethan Jones, Olivia Jones and Charlie Jones; her great grandchild Lucy Burton; and her sisters, Saundra Stratton (Wayne), Pat James (Bill) and Lavena Jennings (Bill).

Memorials may be made West Cancer Center or to Collierville First Baptist Church.
