She was predeceased by: her husband Percy Skelton; and her brother J. T. Burchette. She is survived by: her children, Becky Carr (Michael) and Ralph Skelton (Viki); her grandchildren, Alex Skelton (Maggie), Kristi Skelton, Scott Joyner (Eva) and Dean Joyner (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Lily, Addison, Beckett and Kennedy; and her siblings, Eva Watkins, Nita O'Brien, Owens Burchette, Leon Burchette and Stanley Burchette.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Collierville First Baptist Church (830 New Byhalia Rd, Collierville, TN 38017). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Cemetery (435 S Mt Pleasant Rd, Collierville, TN 38017).
