He is survived by: his wife Jenny Pruett; his children, Maggie Cooley (Charles) of Bartlett and Derek Pruett (Laura) of Germantown; his grandchildren, Emily Ferrara (Alex) of Kansas City, John Cooley of Bartlett and Samuel Pruett of Germantown; and his brother Danny Pruett (Staci) of Hickman, KY..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America, American Diabetes Association, or Collierville Christian Church.
