She is survived by: her daughter Laura Smittick of Collierville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Chelsea James of San Diego and Carlos James II of Collierville, Tennessee; and her sisters, Jean Hopson of Granite City and Jerri Thaman of Ladue, Missouri. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
