Espey (Kelly) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mary M. Espey-Healy (Patrick) of New Orleans, Marguerite Ann Espey of Eads and Joan Espey McGee (Patrick) of Seattle, Washington; his grandchildren, Sean McGee, Patrick Healy, William Henry Espey, Emily Ruth Healy Milwee (Zachariah), Sarah Healy, Kelsey Healy, Carrie Espey Asbridge (Tray) and Jacquelynn Espey; and his close friend Mary Wegener.
