With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe L. Thompson (Collierville, Tennessee), who passed away on December 6, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thompson and Ruby Thompson; and his brother Donald William Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Frances Renegar Thompson; his daughters, Deborah Thompson, Candy Staggs (David) and Tammy Boehm (Mike); his grandchildren, Ryan Staggs (Leigh Anne), Matt Boehm (Candace), Amanda Staggs and Ashley Boehm; and his great grandchildren, Win Staggs and A. J. Staggs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mr. Thompson may be offered to Collierville United Methodist Church or Crossroads Youth Choir at Bartlett United Methodist Church.
